Welling up and only letting one tear escape down his cheek, Cody's eyes shined with love as his bride walked down the aisle with her father. All of their close friends and family joining in the blurry eyes and sniffling noses as they caught a glimpse of her. Madison was radiant in her gorgeously detailed dress with her veil dancing ever so slightly with the breeze. Even the sky couldn't help, but shed joyful tears that day. This describes how Madison’s and Cody's entire day was. It was sincere. It was romantic. It was genuine. I loved the way that even the wedding décor at Rose Marry Farms exuded their personalities. The sage and blush tones to the roses and baby's breath represented Madison and Cody's relationship.
However, the real reason I was so in love with this wedding was, of course, my new friends, Cody and Madison, and it was obvious that I was not the only one, who felt this way. From the moment, Madison had her first look with her father, where tears were falling freely, until the first dances, where both families surrounded the newly-weds in prayer, there was love gushing towards this couple. And you cannot blame them, Madison and Cody are the real deal. Much like their wedding day, they are genuine and kind with some humor mixed in. When Madison and I reconnected in January and through all of our interactions the last three months, I only ever experienced a kind, joyful friend. And how could you not love Cody, who is so thoughtful and is constantly making someone laugh only, because he wants others to share in the happiness he feels. (However, I am not sure Cody felt the same about me, because he kept asking me for a shovel and threatening to dig a hole to throw me and my camera in.) I do not believe there is a single person out there who can say that these two are not perfect for each other!
Madison and Cody, I pray that your marriage will continue to be joyful and geninue. I pray that your parents and your family continue to surround you throughout your life together. And lastly, I thank God that I was able to be a part of a beautiful day that was such a perfect example of His love for us! Thank you so much for including me!
(P.S. Some of you might be wondering about the rain. And just to prove my point, the rain was viewed more as a blessing on their marriage than a issue.
