Everyone was smiling ear to ear as she walked down the aisle. They smiled because of the sign the Ring Bearer had carried down the aisle just a minute before. (See below) They smiled because the flower girls were probably the cutest thing they had seen. They smiled because they saw the nervous glances that Ashley and Aaron exchanged. They smiled because they knew Aaron was in complete awe of his beautiful bride. They smiled because Ashley was beaming. And they smiled because they knew of the love and kindness this couple had, not just for each other, but for all of those that knew them as well. I smiled because over the past ten months, these two became more friends than clients to me.
Ashley and Aaron’s day was a day full of laughter and celebrating love. Typically, when you think of a wedding day, you think it is a day just about the couple. However, for Ashley and Aaron’s, while most activities were about them, they did not hesitate to include all of their family and friends. For example, one of the flower girls was included in the father—daughter dance or when Aaron thought it would only be fair to include his now mother-in-law and mother in on the cake smashing. (It got real—real quick.) I loved every minute of it, because it fit Ashley and Aaron to a “T”.
Thank you both for including me in your very special day. I have enjoyed getting to know you both over the last ten months and pray that your marriage continues to be one of laughter and fun. Congratulations!
