Layer upon layer. Hints of pink Champagne. Perfectly appliquéd sleeves. It was the most beautiful dress I had ever seen. Then Katy put it on. It looked like it was made just for her. Her gorgeous brunette curls complimenting the dress’s perfect palette. I was seriously in awe and I believe I told Josh a million times that he was going to be speechless when he saw her.
And that was just the beginning of Josh and Katy’s beautiful day at Ardmore Station. Before the wedding, family and friends were absolutely everywhere assisting and helping where they could. The ceremony performed by Katy’s brother was sweet, emotional, and personal as the last daylight shined through the large windows. The glimpses of friendships between the wedding party and Katy and Josh were probably one of my favorite parts of their wedding. The bridesmaids and their individual flair brought in color and personality. Whereas, the groomsmen were more reserved, but still supporting Josh and pitching in when needed. It all came together so nicely and resulted in a gorgeous day!
Katy and Josh. I pray that your marriage is one of strength and joy. I pray you continue to “get” each other and support one another. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day. When I left your wedding, I felt more like a part of your family than I did your photographer!
